Delete your VoiDit account

It takes about thirty seconds and happens immediately.

• Open VoiDit and sign in.
• Go to the Profile tab.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Read the confirmation, type the word it asks for, and tap Delete forever.

Your account and its data are removed from our servers straight away. You are signed out and returned to the welcome screen. This cannot be undone.

Everything below is permanently removed when you delete your account. Nothing is archived, and nothing is kept for later.

• Your account and sign-in details, including your email address.
• Your username and your Void ID.
• Every void you released, including ones still floating and ones already in your private archive.
• Any voice recordings attached to your voids.
• Your one to one messages and threads.
• Your reactions, read history, coin balance and coin history.
• Your connections and any invites you created.
• Your notifications and the device tokens used to send them.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing is kept for our own use. Deleted records may persist for up to 30 days in routine encrypted backups held by our hosting providers, after which they are overwritten. They are not accessible in the app and are not used for anything.

Messages you sent inside a thread are deleted when the thread ends, whether or not you delete your account.

What is not yours to delete

Voids are anonymous, so nothing you released carries your name to anyone else. Deleting your account removes your voids entirely rather than leaving them behind under another label.
